Local Honey Pint!

Bees rule, right?! I mean, as if having that sweet black and yellow stripe look on lock since, basically, forever, and rocking their jaunty little antennas wasn’t enough, now – now! – we come to find out they are pretty much responsible for all the best food on the planet.  How could we NOT make an ice cream in honor of what is arguably their finest byproduct: honey. Swirls of local honey caramel are laced throughout a lovely Madagascar vanilla ice cream, punctuated with crispy bits of handmade honeycomb candy. The wildflower honey used in this ice cream comes from Hanner’s Apiary in Schoolcraft, MI and is a little darker and therefore has more vitamins, minerals and antioxidant properties than lighter honey. Also, we think it tastes awesome!
